Water treatment systems are divided into two, as clean water purification and waste water purification systems. Water systems are used for automation of the line pressurizing, pump elevation and water pump systems and well water. Great advantages are provided by using RTU, telemetry, radio modem, GPRS, GSM or RF antenna systems taking into account the location of systems as dispersed in large areas or at remote places. In purification automations analog parameters such as water conductivity, pH degree, pressure, temperature, flow, and level of warehouses are transferred to the central PLC. Data from all points required in the system is retrieved and the required places are activated or stopped according to the predetermined work system. All the data in the system can be monitored and controlled with the SCADA display. Also, if requested this data can be carried to internet or smart devices by transferring it to online and mobile platforms.
Potable water distribution and control automation makes it possible to reach information on all of the following: the total quantity of water transferred, water quality monitoring, chlorine dosing and measurement, bearing temperature trends, filling up of storages during low cost energy rate periods, leak detection by tracking amount of water in and out of a branch point, remote monitoring of whole system online, automatic working and stopping of lift pump stations according to level of storages and backward analysis of saved data. Pump systems automation is extremely important in terms of peer aging. As a result of the implementation of the system of peer aging technique, the pump motor life increases quite a lot. Accordingly, the pumps are always work concurrently and regularly. If a pump is defective, it switches to another pump. In this way the life of the pumps increase and the depreciation rate is reduced. Also Various communication systems used between pump stations, lifting centers, warehouses, wells and control center depending on the structure of the field. The whole system can be monitored through a central screen or via internet.
Agricultural Irrigation Control Systems (ICC) makes it possible to irrigate large agricultural lands by using less energy and water . With these systems; irrigation and fertilization processes are performed in a timely manner and at a right amount by checking soil moisture and meteorological data. Control systems consist of pump control panel, valve control unit, meteorological stations and software. Irrigation areas and pumps are controlled by the remote wireless radio systems. With flow meters installed to each irrigation area, total amount of irrigation is measured and recorded instantly. In irrigated areas, soil moisture measurement is also seen and recorded instantly. The amount of fertilizer dosage can be seen and dosing quantity can be changed. Total amount of energy consumed is measured and recorded instantly. Meteorological data is seen and recorded instantly. As this data is recorded during the irrigation season for any specific field, this data can be reproduced as a table again in order to make productivity analysis and to facilitate irrigation estimates for the next irrigation period.
